Biltong Burgers with a Mexican Twist


  • 6 store-bought patties (or rustle up your own)
  • 2 packs TX Smoked Chili Biltong
  • 6 slices of cheese
  • Lettuce leaves (per burger)
  • Sliced red onion
  • Sliced jalapenos
  • Guacamole and salsa
  • Baconnaise
  • A handful of Doritos


  1. Get all the toppings ready and slice those buns in half.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan. When it's hot, add the burger patties, and set ‘em sizzling for 3 minutes on each side. You can also pop them on the grill of course
  3. Add a slice of cheese to each burger, splash a little water in the pan, and cover to steam and melt the cheese.
  4. Quickly toast your buns under the grill while everything's cooking.
  5. Flip the burgers onto the buns and start layerin’ on all the tasty toppings.
  6. Finish off with a few slices of our Smoked Chili biltong and some crunchy Doritos. Now dig in!
